　世の中には、勉強の嫌いな人間がたくさんいる。

　

　ときに、「勉強しないやつは、不幸になっても当然。自業自得だ」的なことを言う人を見かけるが、そういう考え方には私は賛成できない。エビデンスを創る学者や啓蒙活動を行う専門家は、皆、勉強のできる“坊ちゃん嬢ちゃん”なのかもしれないし、よく学ぶ人からみれば、学ぼうとしない人は理解し難いかもしれない。けれども世の中は勉強好きな人間だけで構成されているわけではない。勉強家や賢い人ばかりが便利さの恩恵に与れるような社会は、どれほど凄いサービスに満ちようとも、それは理想的な社会とは言えない、と私は思う。

　

　私、頭空っぽにしていても生きやすい社会・勉強したくない人でもまずまず安全に暮らせる社会になって欲しいです。理想論だとは承知してますが。でも、どうせ未来を夢見るなら、勉強好きな人も、勉強が嫌いな人も、便利に生きやすい社会が来たらいいなって思うんですよ。
